Introduction

From Seville to the front desk of the Staatskapelle Weimar — and an artist who keeps one hand in the next generation.

Alberto Acuña studied at the Haute École de Musique de Genève with Jacques Zoon before joining the Karajan Academy of the Berliner Philharmoniker. He has taken prizes at the Carl Nielsen, Maxence Larrieu, Aurèle Nicolet and Cluj international competitions.
